Sentraya Perumal College of Education believes that teacher education extends beyond the classroom. Co-curricular and extra-curricular activities are integral to developing leadership qualities, teamwork, discipline, creativity, and physical well-being among student teachers.
Objectives

Yoga
Yoga sessions are conducted to promote physical health, mental clarity, emotional balance, and stress management. Regular practice helps student teachers develop concentration, self-discipline, and inner stability—essential qualities for effective teaching.
Chess
Chess activities enhance logical thinking, strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Participation in chess helps student teachers improve cognitive abilities and mental agility.
Carrom
Carrom encourages hand–eye coordination, focus, and recreational engagement. It also promotes social interaction and healthy competition among students.
Sports & Physical Activities
Under the guidance of the Physical Education faculty, students actively participate in sports and physical activities that foster:
